The Collierville factory is seeking an Industrial Engineer for its Materials group who is self-directed, analytical, detail oriented, and a team player. The incumbent must be able to quickly adapt and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
The major job responsibilities of the Materials Industrial Engineer will consist of the following:
Improving the site s material and logistics productivity and material flow.
Support development and improvement of the site s material flow strategy and implementation plan to transform material, people and information flow to support company goals
Participate in and lead lean manufacturing initiatives cell design, pull systems, FIFO, one-piece flow, setup reduction, kitting etc. with customers and suppliers
Apply quantitative and analytical tools such as discrete-event simulation and heuristics to analyze and solve complex problems in production scheduling, material flow, plant layout, logistics and supply-chain management
Track and coordinating multiple projects and milestones to completion on time and within budget.
