Ensure external financial reporting meets GAAP requirements Augment internal financial reporting and management reporting package Assist in development of financial reporting standards and reporting for 2nd manufacturing plant Complete hands-on tasks in intercompany sales transactions Review month-end close by applying a framework for evaluating results.
Oversee AR and AP, performing transaction-level duties as needed.
Perform hands-on treasury tasks (preparing wires, ACHs) Review tax literature for new jurisdictions (US & Canada) and ensure compliance Periodically review whether changes in business activity creates a new nexus reporting requirement Oversee inventory levels and transaction accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies and performing adjustments as necessary Learn all inventory and BOM procedures bottom-upLearn the business inside out to improve profitability, asset utilization, and provide strategic guidance:
Serve as a valued business partner to strategic business units Monitor all inventory control functions, including costing accuracy and slow moving items Perform ad hoc analysis to uncover costing improvement opportunities Provide actionable analysis to production, sales, and executive team Oversee the budget for PP&E projectsDrive organizational and process improvement:
Identify cost-effective methods and technologies to streamline processes Develop and implement a best in class set of control processes and procedures that evolves with a dynamic and growing business Assist and serve as the accounting lead for new ERP implementationIdeal Candidate Profile:

years of corporate accounting experience MBA/CPA/CMA/MaCC is a plus Manufacturing experience (multi-site production experience a plus) Inventory experience -AR/AP experience Intercompany Transactions experience (downstream sales, lateral intercompany transactions) a plus Foreign currency transaction and consolidation experience a plus Management accounting expert Strong internal and external financial reporting acumen Process-oriented professional Strong technical skills (Microsoft Excel, ERPs, PowerQuery, PowerBI a plus, VBA and/or SQL knowledge a plus) Track record of implementing advanced Excel and automation solutions.
Extensive work within an ERP system, super-user experience a plus Creative self-starter with history of identifying improvement projects and driving them to completion Automation solutions naturally jump out to you when working with complex datasets or processes.
No task is too trivial or challenge too daunting for you.
You are willing to pivot between being in the weeds and high level.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, past experience working in one is a plus.
