Facilities Technician

Red Dot Corporation, a leading manufacturer of HVAC systems, is looking for a Facilities Technician to support our Memphis, Tennessee location.
This is a non-exempt position.
Schedules will vary from 6:
00 am to 2:
30 pm, or 8:
00 am to 4:
30 pm, Monday through Friday, depending on business need.
Under the general supervision and direction of the Facilities Supervisor, can work independently to maintain the facility.
Essential Functions:
Lighting Upkeep HVAC System Filters Escort external Contractors (Fire Alarm, Sprinklers, Fire Extinguishers, etc.
) Drywall Repairs Plumbing Repairs Running of Floor Sweeper (Isles) Concrete Repairs Furniture Building/ Repair Painting/ Carpentry Building Inspection Rounds Facility Fit and Finish Racking Inspections & Repairs Perform Lock Out Tag Out on Equipment RequirementsJOB
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to access data on a computer and accurately enter information required Able to interpret blueprints method sheets and standard work Able to communicate and manage work priorities and proper work practices effectively PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for at least ten hours a day Visually or otherwise identify, observe, and assess distance, color, and depth; Required to regularly communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
Frequently move up to 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds.
He/she must be able to work within different temperature changes, indoors to outdoors; moving between buildings, inventory racks and working around moving equipment/machines; occasionally ascend/descend stairs as required.
